“Hoy, la tensión entre Irán y Estados Unidos ha alcanzado su punto máximo. Washington está tratando de ejercer la máxima presión sobre el pueblo iraní, que a su vez muestra su voluntad, esperanza y fe”, dijo Rohaní en una reunión de su Gabinete.

“La presión de Estados Unidos sobre empresas y bancos para que detengan sus negocios con Irán es un acto 100 % terrorista”, afirmó el mandatario.
Asimismo, Rohaní señaló que la reunión el pasado día 14 de los presidentes de Irán, Rusia y Turquía en Sochi (Rusia), destinada a promover una solución al conflicto sirio, supone una nueva “derrota de la política regional” de Estados Unidos.
El encuentro fue contrarrestado por otra cumbre internacional auspiciada por Washington el 13 y 14 de febrero en Varsovia (Polonia). La conferencia, inicialmente dedicada a Oriente Medio, fue definida por el primer ministro israelí, Benjamín Netanyahu, como una reunión de países con “el interés común de la guerra contra Irán“.
Rohaní subrayó que la conferencia de Varsovia no cumplió sus objetivos. Sus organizadores, EE.UU. y Polonia, enviaron alrededor de 90 invitaciones a los jefes de la diplomacia de países europeos y de Oriente Medio.
